RV There Yet?

Four friends, one RV, and 500 miles of coastal highway between us and Webflow Conf 2024 in San Francisco. The plan? There really isn't one—just an RV crammed with well-intentioned snacks, as many game-changing ideas as opportunities for groan-inducing paternal puns, and a mutual delusion that we won't spend the week inhaling gas station burritos while appeasing clients from a mobile hotspot.

The crew? A Canadian who swears by Target's caffeinated sparkling water (it's become his cross-border contraband of choice), another Canadian whose country music playlist is our collective secret shame, a Midwesterner who's convinced we'll find time for a round of golf, and the token West Coaster who's just here to make sure we don't accidentally drive into the Pacific. GPS is doing most of the heavy lifting—getting lost isn't on the menu, but sarcastic detours definitely are.

What happens between Coos Bay and San Francisco is anyone's guess. There's talk of propane campfires, a marathon of bad coffee, and maybe—just maybe—one sad attempt at golf. Will we make it to Webflow Conf on time? Probably. Will we have our lives together by then? Definitely not. But as long as nobody snores louder than the Silverado's V8, we'll call it a win.

By the time we roll into San Francisco, we'll be ready (or not) for Webflow Conf 2024. Two days of talks, workshops, and one mind-blowing keynote that'll keep us busy and wanting for the next year. We'll be fumbling through awkward handshakes with Twitter friends, desperately caffeinating our way through conversations, and trying to explain our road trip shenanigans without incriminating ourselves. Whether the trip is smooth sailing or a glorious disaster, we're in it for the ride.
